“DESIGNING DISRUPTION” AT WOMEN IN THE WORLD 2017

“DESIGNING DISRUPTION” AT WOMEN IN THE WORLD 2017 Posted on April 13th, 2017 in Well-Being.

Here’s the video from “Designing Disruption: Counteracting Stereotypes of Age and Gender in Business and Pop Culture”, the panel I participated in at the Women In The World Summit, hosted by Tina Brown, in association with the New York Times.

The panel featured Diane von Furstenburg, designer and icon; Jo Ann Jenkins, the CEO of AARP; Jeannine Sargent, President of Innovation and New Ventures at Flex; and Elaine Welteroth, Editor-in-Chief of Teen Vogue.  It was moderated by the absolutely hilarious and insightful Kathy Lette, a best-selling author. We chatted about disrupting stereotypes while driving innovation in business, technology and entertainment. While it’s not a quick watch (36 minutes), it’s a fun and interesting half-hour filled with some serious gems from Diane! I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences in the comments below!
