Tracee Style Me

As you may know, I’ll be back hosting this year’s Black Girls Rock  for BET with the wonderful Regina King, and I’m extremely excited about it.  So as I prepare for the show (airing Sunday, November 3rd), I thought I would ask for your help and get you to weigh in on what I should wear and what better way to do that than thru social media!?!

So here’s the deal: On September 24th I’ll have my final fitting with my stylist in NY and I want your opinion. So, I will post an Instagram Video or picture for a bunch of choices and I want YOU to comment and tell me what you think. You can make suggestions, “love the dress and those shoes but don’t like them together,” “favorite look so far,” “not my fav.”  Vote for your favorites, give constructive criticisms, and we can all just have a bunch of fun.

octoberchallenge3

It’s OCTOBER people! My birthday month!!! woot woot! and I am taping Black Girls Rock THREE days before my 41st Birthday. So, I thought it was the perfect time to kick my work out regimen into overdrive. Since I’m embarking on this little project for myself, I thought maybe you would like to join me. It will be much easier of I’m not alone. It’s THE OCTOBER CHALLENGE!  Let’s focus on our fitness for the month of October and push ourselves just a little harder than we normally would.  If you don’t workout at all, take a walk around the park! If you’re a marathon runner who works out 4 times a week, try for 5!

Tracee Response Qaadir

All right let me explain: the hilarious Qaadir Howard had a dream in which I gave him some serious shade…so much so that he called it FEVER.  Then he made a video documenting said dream, and it was HILARIOUS! So when I discovered the video I HAD to respond.  So I…video bombed him.  It’s like photo bombing, but so much more fun. Thanks to Qaadir for being such a good sport.  And for the record, I definitely don’t hate him lol.

Tracee pt 2

This time I’m talking about the importance of vulnerability. The importance of talking and sharing, and just being open with yourself and others. Stick around for some book recommendations, my advice on dealing with failure, and a host of other things.  Now let’s get heavy (again)…

TER Q&A

Your questions are so wonderful, insightful and honest. And in my responses I want to give them the care that they deserve, which sometimes means things are gonna get a little HEAVY. Thoughtful questions deserve thoughtful responses.  This time around I’m talking about personal mantras and how to get over those tough times. Thank you for the thought provoking questions!
