This week I attended the Liaisons au Louvre Trois gala in Paris, and O.M.G. it was fan-freaking-tastic! The venue was absolutely beautiful, I mean it was the Lourve for goodness sakes!!! We had cocktails in front of the VENUS De MILO and then we wandered into a wonderful dinner covered in Red flowers. To top it off my mom performed under the PYRAMID. JUST MAGICAL, I tell ya. But, the pièce de résistance was my outfit! hahahah! I felt like a french goddess. So here is a breakdown of my look and a few fun pics.
Pickled peppers, they seem to be all the rage this summer. Just last week I had the most amazing dish composed of little pieces of toast, sliced hard boiled eggs, pickled jalapeno peppers, and a light drizzle of olive oil. It was, as Julia Child would say, AMAZEBALLS! But seriously, it was insanely delicious and has made me OBSESSED with pickled peppers. They’re simple to make, you just…who am I kidding I don’t know how to pickle but here’s a recipe! Follow it, and enjoy all the tasty goodness of pickled peppers! Once you’ve made (or bought, no judgment) your pickled peppers you can add them to anything! Making a nicoise salad? Why not add some picked peppers?! Add ‘em into my recipe for mashed eggs!
