I am growing out my face caterpillars, people!! I am loving the natural, fuller eyebrow. The 90′s are back y’all, and it’s a beautiful thing. I have been working on mine for almost a year. Yummy, healthy, and QUICK lunch: quinoa and zucchini with crushed almonds! I’ve been obsessed with zucchini lately, just can’t seem to get enough! I made this meal with a side of carrot ginger soup.
How-To:
-Preheat a frying pan or wok and then add a tablespoon of oil. I have been using Brazil nut oil…apparently, it’s good for cooking because it can withstand a higher heat than olive oil, and hey, Brazil nuts are supposed to be very good for you!
-Add sliced zucchini and season with a little bit of salt, pepper and cumin. The cumin is a game-changer. It feels foreign and adds some warmth to the dish.
I’ve always loved the idea of a sassy short haircut, but I’ve been unwilling to chop my tresses. No worries, there are so many ways to tuck and pin that short hairdos are as easy as 1-2-3. All you need is some inspiration. Flip through a magazine or two and the inspiration comes a floodin!
Well, I was inspired by Tyra Banks’ sultry pompadour from I Love You Magazine. I mean who doesn’t love a pompadour and it totally works when your hair is straight or in its natural texture. Janaelle Monae has proved that it’s a versatile and fantastic look and Alicia Keys has mastered it too. So, last year we created this version for my photo shoot with Uptown.
