Tracy your address to all your fans for the new year was great I was just ecstatic about it. The
sun shine in Los Angeles is always the most high experience and I love those sun glasses.

Ms. Tracee the fact that you respond to your fans and read their comments is everything (just Amazing)!!!!. Consider me a weekly comments contributor on your website girl…p.s. You need to try Somali fuuto muse (that’s Somali naan bread and banana smushed together)

Lol!….. Tracee, I understand your concern for the Mama’s, but I assure you we are not slapping Mama’s down here in “The Boot” (Louisiana). Lol! Slap Ya Mama is a Cajun seasoning made in Ville Platte, Louisiana. It is a great seasoning blend with a spicy kick that can be used on almost anything…..Luv that u read the comments :) Happy New Year! Thanks

I’m guessing Taj is Trinidadian, and is talking about the macaroni pie all of us Trinis grew up with. It’s a staple at my Christmas meal, and I make this one (except I also add some grated onion). Enjoy!

    • Taj Bruno

Hi Karen you are not too far off as my parents are Grenadian.

      • http://www.chookooloonks.com Karen Walrond

Which makes you family, Taj. And that’s a MAGNIFICENT photograph of macaroni pie. Ah hungry too bad, now! :)

        K.

        • Taj Bruno

Yes, definitely family and I made myself hungry as well LOL

  • Taj Bruno

Thank you Tracee and my parents are from Grenada so what we consider macaroni pie I believe everyone else calls it “baked macaroni” as Karen and Anesha stated. We all do it differently and I like to add bread crumbs on my macaroni pie. I don’t have a photo of my macaroni pie but here is a photo of what the finished product looks like.

Tracee, I love that you read the comments your fans post and also reply! It means an actual dialogue is taking place so your fans and readers learn from you, but you learn from your fans and readers as well.. I’m a huge fan and I wish you nothing short of everything amazing for 2013 :)

I’m officially addicted to Coquito! Like you, I’m not a fan of Egg Nog, but Coquito is much sweeter because it has lots of sweetened condensed milk and coconut cream. I made it for the first time this Christmas using a recipe from allrecipes.com. Just search it on there…I double and triple the recipe because its delicious!

  • Jay

You Rock Tracee! I want to hang out with you for a day… I know a person who knows a person who makes a slammin’ coquito!! Ha! :)
