Please get yourself Registered to VOTE!

“Yor vote is precious, almost sacred. It is the most powerful non-violent tool we have to create a more perfect union.” -Rep John Lewis

The act of voting is one of the ways that you know you’re alive and awake: that you know you matter, that you are enough to make a difference, that you have a voice that you will use, and that you know what’s at stake. So please, GET YOURSELF REGISTERED! Critical regiration deadlines are fast approaching, so don’t wait. Register now! Vote early if you can, and be sure your friends, family, and neighbors are registered too!

And while we’re on the subject of voting and civic engagement, I wanted to direct your attention to two fantastic articles by my dear friend Sarah Sofie Flicker. She perfectly sums up the urgency of this moment and the power of your vote. As she writes, “Even if you believe that politics have become a divisive, blurred, money machine of a shitshow, it does affect us.” So after you’ve registered, check out her pieces on HelloGiggles (here and here), they’re DEFINITELY worth the read.

  • My granny made sure I registered to vote when I turned 18. I’m definitely voting this election and I’m thinking about voting early because I’m anxious to do so. Besides it would eliminate the long lines on November 6th.

Please people we are in a Code RED Sound the Alarm moment, everyone this is our future in our hands… Make sure you are register and will show up on Nov. 6th for this election. We will have no one to blame but ourselves if the outcome and the changing of the guard is different on Nov. 7th
