October Challenge

October Challenge Posted on October 7th, 2013 in Beauty.

It’s OCTOBER people! My birthday month!!! woot woot! and I am taping Black Girls Rock THREE days before my 41st Birthday. So, I thought it was the perfect time to kick my work out regimen into overdrive. Since I’m embarking on this little project for myself, I thought maybe you would like to join me. It will be much easier of I’m not alone. It’s THE OCTOBER CHALLENGE!  Let’s focus on our fitness for the month of October and push ourselves just a little harder than we normally would.  If you don’t workout at all, take a walk around the park! If you’re a marathon runner who works out 4 times a week, try for 5!

My #OctoberChallenge will be spent working out with the fabulous trainer, Jeanette Jenkins.  She’ll be kicking my butt for 3-5 days a week. GAHHH! Watch the video for a full rundown of the project, and you can follow the journey via my social media channels. I’ll be posting pics and vids, and providing tips from the all-knowing Jeanette. Post your pics, videos, etc on your social media and #OctoberChallenge so we can all track each others progress.  Let’s kick it up!!!

    Ooh, yeah I want to, too! Ok, I’m going to work out 3-4 days a week and cut wayyy back on sugar (let’s say one sugary snack per day).

    OMG! 10/29 is my birthday too and I’m kicking my workout regimen/nutrition game into overdrive in preparation for my birthday too! I just joined a new gym and I am doing way more weights and tracking my eating and progress online. I don’t have a Black Girls Rock to tape, but I do have a gorgeous blue and black dress that I need to look super sexy in! The road to 41 is off to a great start!

    I got derailed from my October Challenge, instead this rock hard body I wanted I go a tummy. I was side-settle but a rocky relationship that took a tole on me for three weeks. I was crying, self pity, and eating. Have you been derailed before from a good workout?
