While I was at the farmers market this past week I was chatting up one of the farmers who sold two types of persimmons. I found out that there is a “Hachiya” persimmon and a “Fuyu” persimmon. Apparently the Fuyu is perfectly in season now! I LOVE it! It tastes like Thanksgiving’s answer to an apple! Crunchy, sweet and slightly cinnamon-y!
I held a “Personal Style” contest a few weeks ago (as some of you may remember). Though the winner was chosen at random, when Amarachi won I looked her up on Instagram and when I saw her style and the clothing she made I yelled, “I NEED to know more about this girl! I LOVE what she’s doing!” So I decided to interview HER!
These polaroids were from a shoot for Allure Magazine back in my modeling days (you can tell how long ago by how dang skinny I was). They never made it into the magazine, but thank goodness for polaroids cause I pocketed these and at least have them as a memento. When I saw this Chanel ad recently I thought , “Oh my, they must have been inspired by ME!” hahahahah—NOT!!! But, come on the haircuts look so similar, right?! Love that coat! Love Stella Tennant! Love Chanel! I can’t say I’ll be rockin this ‘do any time soon but love the (reverse) hair inspiration!
