Um, did you know that “digital botox” existed? Well, it does. And I had some.
Sooo remember when I ran around the super market asking people questions about Thanksgiving? Well I had so much fun, I decided to whip out my microphone and do it again! This time around I went to Abbott Kinney (an adorable little street in Venice) and I asked people a bunch of Christmas and New Years themed questions. And I got a special assist from my wonderful sister, Chudney!! Now… LET’S CHAT!
Not sure if you saw my post on FB about the recipe I was sent for the LIFE-CHANGING-BREAD but in short a friend sent me a recipe for this amazing “bread”. I made it and it did, intact, change my life. So, for Holiday gifts I decided I would make mini loafs for some folks. Nothing like a DIY gifts made with LOVE. I found sweet little cardboard bread dishes and string sets at Crate & Barrel and had a ball allowing my inner Martha Stewart to do her thing. Here are some pics from my process and the finished product. Please try this “bread”. It really is delicious and its Gluten Free. I love it toasted with a little butter, with a slice of organic goats milk raw cheddar or with sugar free preserves!
Okay, so a few days ago I attended an amazing cocktail party at Decades, hosted by costume designer/stylist B. Akerlund and of course Cameron Silver and Christos Garkinos of DECADES.  We were there to celebrate the mind blowing work of Swedish designer, Bea Szenfeld.  And WOW! What a treat!  She creates sculptural clothing made of paper and entirely by hand.  It’s high-art through the lens of fashion…and did I mention they’re made WITH JUST PAPER!? Seeing her work up close was amazing, the craftsmanship, the imagination and the obvious time spent was really something special. But I have to say it was the video of her Fashion Show that really blew my mind.  To see her creations in motion is really something to behold.
